Superyacht Projects is a specialized consultancy focused on the technical management of high-value refit and new build projects for superyachts. With operations in both Greece and Italy, we provide expert oversight, detailed project planning, and hands-on execution for demanding yacht owners and operators. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional results, ensuring every detail meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance.
We are currently seeking a dynamic and diplomatic Project Manager to join our technical office in Greece, supporting projects located in Greece and Italy.
Position Overview
The Project Manager will oversee refit and new build projects, acting as the owner’s technical representative. You will provide technical advice, support contract negotiations, and offer consistent updates to both the owner and Superyacht Projects’ technical leadership. The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with contract terms, technical specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Manage the technical aspects of yacht refit and construction projects
• Coordinate and oversee daily operations of multiple projects
• Assist the owner’s representative and participate in site meetings and inspections
• Ensure compliance with ISM, ISPS, MLC, CSO certifications, class and flag regulations
• Handle project administration in collaboration with suppliers and clients
• Attend shipyard progress and extraordinary meetings and compile visit reports
• Monitor timelines, deliverables, and the quality of all work onboard
Skills & Requirements
• Minimum 5 years of experience in refit or new build project management within the yachting industry
• Strong understanding of ship construction processes, naval architecture, and outfitting (e.g., teak decking, painting)
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)
• Fluent spoken and written English;
• Willingness to travel regularly to shipyards
• Onboard experience is beneficial but not required
